PL/SQL is an acronym for “Procedural Structured Query Language “ which is Oracles server based procedural extension for running database queries  which shares a similar syntax to ADA. PL/SQL allows the use of common programming procedure and allows the usage of arrays, variables and conditional logic to be used to filter results.
