Training Videos - DVD & CDs with Closed Captions

An increasing amount of listed training titles are now being created with closed captions. This new feature greatly benefits users who are hearing impaired and require training, however, users who don’t having hearing difficulties can benefit from closed captions too. Image your working in a busy office with a high degree of ambient noise, or trying to brush up on your programming skills on a train or aeroplane, closed captions come in very useful. Students have also reported that they find learning easier if they can read at the same time as the author is speaking, it helps them build a relationship with the content and aids retention. The links below allow you to view the captions for each movie, at present we only allow access to the first three chapters of movies for evaluation purposes, by listing the narration, users can asses if the training goes into enough detail before making a purchase. Listed below are the tutorials that currently have closed captions included on the CD / DVD.

Hopefully in the future the search function will be integrated with the closed captions and the embedded time codes, this will allow you to search for specific terms and then jump to that exact position in the movie.
